While we aim to capture your pet as true to life as possible, embroidery thread cannot match fur colours exactly.

Each piece is an artistic interpretation of your photo, so it’s important that your reference image clearly shows your pet’s true colours and features. Strong lighting, shadows, angles, or heavy contrast can affect how colours are interpreted. For best results, please refer to the reference photo guidelines in the product listing.

To maintain depth and dimension, we layer in additional shades and details so the final embroidery doesn’t appear flat.

We’re happy to offer free local pick-up for customers in the Vancouver and Lower Mainland area. Pick-up is available in Coquitlam, BC, weekdays from 1:00 PM–8:00 PM only. For privacy and safety, the exact address will be provided once your order is ready.

All items are custom-made, and local pick-up orders follow the same production timeline as shipped orders. Once your order is complete, you’ll receive a “Ready for Pick-Up” email with the pick-up address, available time windows, and any special instructions.

Please reply to the pick-up email with at least 24 hours’ notice of when you plan to collect your order so we can ensure everything is prepared for you. If you need to reschedule, simply reply and we’ll arrange another time.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are non-refundable. For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or import taxes incurred upon delivery.

Most orders are processed and shipped within 10–15 business days after production begins. Production starts once all required reference photos are received; delays in photo submission will directly affect your completion date. If supplier-related delays occur, we will notify you as soon as possible. These delays do not qualify for order cancellations.

Once your order has shipped, a tracking number will be sent via email. Please ensure your shipping address is accurate, as we are not responsible for parcels delivered to incorrect addresses.

We cannot offer refunds or replacements for carrier-related shipping delays, incorrect addresses provided at checkout, or dissatisfaction with designs that were accurately created based on the reference photo supplied.

Due to the custom nature of our products, orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. If you need to modify your order (such as updating reference photos or embroidery details), please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. After this time, changes cannot be guaranteed.

If an issue arises with your order, please contact us promptly via gorgoartstudio.com and include clear photos of the embroidery received, the reference photo provided, and a brief description of the concern. Each case is reviewed individually.

Adjustments or replacements may be offered if the issue resulted from our error, including incorrect sizing provided by us, incorrect embroidery placement, or misspellings caused on our end. As all items are custom-made, returns or refunds are not guaranteed.

Approved returns must be shipped within 15 business days, in original condition, with tracking provided. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the error was ours. Approved refunds are issued as non-expiring store credit. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
